As our Senior Financial Analyst, you will own the company financial model and all strategic planning and forecasting. You will provide high-quality analysis, reporting, and research to inform executive-level decision making. This is a high visibility role with plenty of room for growth. While we're based on the westside of Los Angeles, we are open to hiring remotely (within Southern California) for this role.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain three-statement financial model to accurately forecast company performance and financials
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, including materials for Board meetings with narratives, business explanations, and financial forecasts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for senior leadership on the state of the business, and support internal teams with regular financial reporting, metrics and analysis, and ad-hoc projects
  • Analyze business trends and data to uncover growth opportunities
  • Work with product, marketing, and engineering teams to understand business dynamics and help leaders make better decisions
  • Help evaluate potential M&A opportunities
  • Partner with Accounting and other Finance teams to complete projects efficiently and effectively
  • If not local to the office, have the ability to travel to company headquarters in Los Angeles for up to a week per month (once we reopen the office).

Who we're looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or other related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, FP&A, corporate finance, private equity, consulting, or other relevant experience at a software/technology company
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and deep intellectual curiosity
  • Strong work ethic and relentless attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing, entrepreneurial environment

Bonus Points

  • SQL skills
  • Experience using Looker or Tableau
  • Master’s degree or MBA
