As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Finance team you will support the financial management of the business, including forecasting, strategic planning & budgeting, financial modeling, and reporting. This position also supports operational components of the business, such as inventory purchase planning. You will report to the CFO and work closely with senior business leaders in a fast-paced environment to drive key decision making across operations, strategic initiatives, and resource planning. What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain detailed financial projections in support of our annual operating plan, long-range strategic plan, and periodic forecasts
- Identify ways to improve forecasting, constantly refining approach over time
- Work closely with accounting to track and report actuals against plan on a monthly basis, working with business leads to understand variances
- Drive analysis and modeling for growth and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the data team to define and track business performance metrics and KPIs, improving visibility and usability of our existing data
- Develop insightful findings, provide recommendations, and help facilitate decision making process for our leadership team
- Build and manage inventory requirement projections, working closely with operations in support of their inventory purchase decisions
- Develop and create presentation materials for Board and other meetings
- Support any ad-hoc and other financial analyses as necessary
Who You Are
- 2-3 years finance experience in operation finance, corporate development or strategy, investment banking, and/or consulting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Experience building and managing dynamic, bottoms-up financial models
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with a formidable attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goals
- Healthy curiosity to understand all aspects of the business
- Anaplan and SQL experience (plus, but not required)
