About The Job

We're looking for someone to help kick off our finance and accounting functions at LiveControl! This is a role where you will dive in and get your hands dirty from the very start; from closing our books to running payroll- this is an opportunity to contribute to a variety of key responsibilities as the company grows.

The ideal individual is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy growth environment, well organized, detail oriented that has an analytical mindset while having the ability to learn and adapt to changes. You'll be working closely with business partners, including cross-functional teams, and will require a lot of autonomy.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive finance transformation and implementing scalable accounting processes from an operational and technical perspective
• Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses and analytical reviews, producing internal management reporting and financial statement support.
• Assist in support of external audit, including preparation of audit requests and ongoing support
• Maintain fixed asset, intangible asset, lease and prepaid procedures, schedules and policies
• Responsible for cash reconciliation and investment roll-forward
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedural documentation
• Managing payroll for both full time employees and contractors
• Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned

Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a hyper growth environment
• Mix of private and public company experience
• Superior analytical and modeling skills including advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
• An aptitude for learning and managing ERP data structures and reporting capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• A high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgement and attention to detail in a fast paced & rapidly changing environment
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA (or international equivalent) required
