Primary Purpose
The Outsourcing Vendor Relations Analyst is a key contributor to the success of our vendor management strategy and finance operations. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing outsourcing partnerships across finance processes-Order-to-Cash (OTC), Record-to-Report (RTR), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). You will lead efforts to measure and improve vendor performance, develop actionable insights from data, and collaborate across internal and external teams to drive enhanced service delivery, cost-efficiency, and quality outcomes.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Performance & KPI Management
    • Monitor and analyze service delivery performance, ensuring alignment with defined benchmarks and contractual obligations.
    • Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions for both vendor and retained teams.
    • Support the creation of a standardized metric framework for retained and outsourced processes across end-to-end finance functions (OTC, RTR, P2P).
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
    • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes and support delivering of the solutions that enhance operational performance.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to implement changes that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Collect, organize, and analyze datasets to generate actionable insights.
    • Drive the development and refinement of vendor scorecards.
    • Lead monthly business reviews to report on service levels, trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Support and guide change management initiatives, ensuring training and communication plans are effectively executed.
    • Build strong cross-functional relationships to influence without direct authority and promote accountability for performance.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing mentorship to operational teams and driving the adoption of performance frameworks.
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Act as a trusted advisor on outsourcing strategies, using your knowledge of industry trends and finance operations to influence key decisions.
    • Provide leadership through deep functional expertise and by fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in business consulting, financial operations, or vendor management
  • Strong understanding of finance processes and terminology (OTC, RTR, P2P)
  • Proven experience in business analytics, including performance monitoring and root cause analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working in a global shared services or multi-vendor outsourcing environment
  • Recognized subject matter expertise in finance operations and/or vendor performance management

Preferred:
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA)
  • Expertise in designing and managing complex KPI frameworks
  • Familiarity with ERP and finance automation tools
