We invite you to join our Global Banking Finance & Business Management team as an Executive Director, Business Manager. This role offers the opportunity to partner with CTOs, promoting financial efficiency and transparency, and aligning with strategic objectives. We're looking for a business management expert who can simplify complex data into actionable insights and establish themselves as a trusted advisor. You'll have ownership and accountability for all financial management activities, using your strong relationship management skills and financial knowledge to tell the story behind the numbers.
As an Executive Director, Business Manager within the Global Banking Finance and Business Management team, you will play a pivotal role in promoting financial efficiency and transparency. You will partner with CTOs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Your expertise in business management, exceptional relationship management skills, and ability to distill complex data into actionable insights will be key in this role.
Job responsibilities

  • Support all financial processes and reporting including actuals, budget, forecast of various financial and headcount metrics and scenarios/views including program/project, product taxonomy, application cost of ownership, internal allocations, and business case financials.
  • Partner with CTOs and respective technology teams to ensure financial efficiency and transparency.
  • Create and present decks and presentations to CTOs and F&BM that clearly articulate the financial story/strategy and provide insights and recommendations on financial and headcount management activities and trends.
  • Maintain and refine key metrics and performance indicators, including workforce metrics, vendor spend and cloud/infrastructure roadmaps.
  • Own, coordinate and oversee month-end financial processes for applicable CTOs.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for assigned orgs; including business case prioritization of technology investments and spend, ensuring strict governance of deliverables and transparency of financials.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to stakeholders as needed.
  • Partner with Finance and Business Management teams across the firm to provide financial commentary and analysis regarding financial drivers and variances (i.e., actuals/forecast vs. budget).
  • Liaise with various stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and Business Management to ensure best practices and desired results.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field
  • 10+ years of prior business management and/or finance experience
  • Proven experience in financial management, planning, and analysis within a technology organization
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of financial principles and ability to link results to activities including proven analytical, modeling and reporting skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications and ability to tailor message and style to different audiences
  • Advanced skills in Excel (synthesizing large data sets), ability to present conclusions concisely in PowerPoint able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
  • Have a strong business acumen and a strategic mindset that can unpack complex problems, build solutions for them, and manage their execution
