About the Role
Location: Goodyear, AZ
Reports To: Field Operations Manager (or Customer Operations Manager)
Classification: Full-time, non-exempt
As a Field Operations Coordinator, you will be a crucial support pillar for our field operations, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day execution of activities at our client sites. You'll focus on the logistical and administrative tasks that enable our field team to deliver consistent quality and service. Your work will involve close coordination with field staff and internal teams to support operational excellence and worker satisfaction.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support: Provide direct support for all field operations at assigned client sites, ensuring daily tasks and procedures are followed.
  • Onboarding & Training Assistance: Assist with the onboarding and administrative aspects of training for new shift leads and field personnel, helping to ensure consistent standards.
  • Issue Resolution Support: Serve as a point of contact for routine operational inquiries and issues at client locations, escalating more complex matters to the Field Operations Manager as needed.
  • Coverage & Troubleshooting: Step into shift lead responsibilities or provide on-site assistance when needed to address coverage gaps, support ramp-ups, or troubleshoot immediate operational issues.
  • Site Launch Coordination: Coordinate logistical support for newly launched client sites, assisting with initial setups, training sessions, and early-stage performance monitoring.
  • Community Outreach Assistance: Support on-the-ground marketing and outreach efforts aimed at growing the local worker base, including assisting with event logistics, material distribution, and community program coordination.
  • Event Representation: Assist in representing WorkWhile at local job fairs, community hiring events, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Partnership Support: Provide administrative and logistical support for building and maintaining relationships with local community partners, workforce training organizations, and other talent pipelines.
  • Performance Monitoring Support: Assist in gathering data and monitoring client performance metrics and worker satisfaction feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Compile data and assist in preparing regular reports for the Field Operations Manager or Regional Field Operations Director on staffing, operational challenges, and site activities.

About you
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience, preferably within a warehouse, distribution center, or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong coaching and team development skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with field staff and internal teams.
  • A proactive approach to identifying issues and the ability to assist in finding practical solutions.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Leads by example.
  • Open to working weekend hours/some overnight hours.
  • Comfortable with periodic local travel to client sites as needed (e.g., 10-20% travel, opportunity for future hybrid/remote work).

Compensation: $25/ Hour
