At Lookout, we believe the human layer is the new attack surface.

As employees rely on mobile devices to stay productive from anywhere, these endpoints have become the entry point for modern cyberattacks. Lookout’s AI-powered security platform is purpose-built to defend against today’s most dangerous threats—including phishing, social engineering, and account takeovers—targeting your people and the devices they trust.

From protecting against executive impersonation and SMS phishing to empowering SOC teams with real-time mobile threat intelligence, Lookout gives security teams the visibility and control they need to disrupt the modern kill chain.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager who’s passionate about cybersecurity and energized by the challenge of translating high-level go-to-market strategy into field-level execution that drives demand. This role is central to Lookout’s growth across the fastest growing regions of the U.S.—with a strong focus on planning and executing high-impact events that engage CISOs, security buyers, and strategic partners.

This is more than just logistics. You’ll act as the regional marketing owner, collaborating closely with sales and channel teams to bring Lookout’s brand to life at the field level, while delivering measurable pipeline and influence.

You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy and be expected to lead complex programs that span multiple stakeholders, geographies, and formats—from third-party conferences to bespoke customer experiences. This role requires 30-40% travel across the US.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive pipeline through events: Lead the charge on US Enterprise and Public Sector field events, including strategic presence at tradeshows and executive-level engagements. From planning to post-event follow-up, you’ll make every touchpoint count.
  • Develop regional GTM strategy: Align with sales leadership to define regional objectives and build marketing plans that support account-level and territory-level goals.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution: Collaborate with sales, partner, product marketing, and demand gen teams to ensure unified messaging and flawless execution.
  • Create tailored ABM programs: Build bespoke experiences for strategic accounts—executive dinners, roundtables, and industry workshops—that align to sales priorities and deal cycles.
  • Manage budgets and measure impact: Own your budget and drive accountability by tracking event ROI, pipeline influence, and lead-to-opportunity conversion metrics.
  • Optimize field readiness: Ensure the sales and partner teams have the right content, tools, and follow-up strategies to maximize the impact of every marketing engagement.
What You Bring
  • 5–7+ years of field marketing experience in B2B tech—preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and execute end-to-end field marketing programs, especially in-person events with complex stakeholder involvement.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution chops—you’re just as comfortable building the plan as you are rolling up your sleeves to run it.
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems and co-marketing programs.
  • Expertise in Salesforce, marketing automation tools (Marketo preferred), and campaign attribution/reporting.
  • Excellent communicator who can align stakeholders and inspire action across teams.
  • Self-starter with a bias for action, highly organized, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Why Lookout

Join a team that’s redefining how organizations secure their most targeted asset: their people. At Lookout, you’ll have the opportunity to shape regional strategy, drive tangible business impact, and represent a mission-driven company that’s protecting organizations in an increasingly mobile-first world.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
