Backed by their deep industry experience and a commitment to be Home Organizer’s critical SaaS provider for its 6000+ employees, our team is building innovative solutions to solve universal problems that most businesses face — yet are not addressed by a single, unified tool.

Our mission is to transform the entrepreneurial experience and deliver operational excellence for businesses across the world through a unified platform supercharged with proprietary AI agents. We want to unleash the creativity of billions and inspire the world to dream big and build fast. We’re a rapidly growing team of forward-thinking and, most importantly, committed builders. We are driven by the opportunity to push boundaries, reimagine the foundations of human work, and shape tools that power the next generation of “business operations.” The way the world views and does business is changing, and we are committed to leading this change responsibly.

Role Overview:

As a Field Deployment Engineer – Data Integrations, you will be a customer-facing technical expert responsible for integrating customers systems with our SYNC platform. You will help customers export data from their systems (often SQL or NoSQL sources), transform, validate, and import it into SYNC and vice versa, ensuring secure and seamless integrations.

You’ll serve as the key owner of the data integration process for each customer, guiding them through data extraction, transformation, and secure delivery into SYNC. Over time, you will also help evolve these workflows from file-based imports to API-driven integrations, applying best practices in ETL, API security, and enterprise integration patterns to ensure seamless, scalable, and secure data exchange.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with customer technical teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other data sources into SYNC.
  • Analyze, document, and fully understand customer’s source databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other SQL/NoSQL systems).
  • Act as the primary technical owner for customer data onboarding and integration workflows, ensuring end-to-end success.
  • Design and implement JSON export/import pipelines that meet SYNC’s schema and validation requirements.
  • Configure, secure, and manage API integrations, including use of API gateways, authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2, tokens), and enterprise patterns.
  • Troubleshoot integration challenges during customer onboarding and provide hands-on technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to improve data onboarding workflows and APIs.
  • Build automation scripts and tools (Python, .NET/C#, Azure services) to scale data integrations across diverse customer environments.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with security best practices.
  • Document integration processes and provide training/guidance to customers for long-term success.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years (Intermediate) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience in data engineering, integration, or implementation engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL systems.
  • Solid experience with ETL pipelines, JSON transformations, and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of .NET/C# development and ability to extend/customize integration tools.
  • Understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT, HMAC, API gateways) and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, etc.).
  • Strong experience and daily utilization of AI automation and workflow orchestration is a must.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work directly with customers in a consultative, technical capacity.
Benefits/Perks:

We believe in recognizing and rewarding our employees for a job well done. We offer growth potential for motivated individuals, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
