THE ROLE
Avocado is currently looking for a Fabric Cutter to be part of the Cut and Sew team, responsible for cutting and handling fabric to be used in the production of our eco-friendly organic products..
*Note on Location: You will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations.
*Note on Pay Transparency: The pay range for this role is $21.00-$24.56 hourly.
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON…
Spreads fabric on machine table preparatory to cutting
Draws guide lines or markings on materials or workpieces using patterns or other references.
Separate cutting waste, unloads cut fabric parts from table and bundles cut pieces together
Computes dimensions of patterns according to sizes, considering stretching of material.
WHAT YOU BRING…
Minimum of (1) years of experience in sewing in a production manufacturing work setting environment.
Follow company safety culture and Cal OSHA regulations
Report incident injury and hazard to managers
Able to identify work hazard situations
Regular and predictable attendance
