Job Description:

We’re actively seeking a talented Executive Protection Program Manager to join our Security team in Newport Beach, CA reporting to the Director, Security & Business Continuity.  As the Executive Protection Program Manager, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive executive security strategies and providing professional driver services for Pacific Life senior executives and high-profile events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive protection, risk assessment, and crisis response, with the ability to collaborate with senior executives and other security professionals.

How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Utilizing a Pacific Life (PL) provided vehicle, provide professional driver & security services for senior executives to/from key events, meetings, etc., Monday-Friday and on occasion during the evenings and weekends.

  • Conduct pre-drive planning to ensure primary and alternate routes are identified.

  • Provide executive security support and response during office hours at PL headquarters.

  • Provide executive security support in the form of domestic or international travel as needed.

  • Work with current PL Enterprise Physical Security team for destination security risk assessments and planning.

  • Work with current PL Enterprise Physical Security team for monitoring of senior executive travel via travel risk monitoring tools and other platforms.

  • Support the development and implementation of executive security response plans for security incidents to include active assailant, physical and digital threats, harassments, and other similar security matters.

  • 25% US and international travel required.

The experience you bring:

  • Former military, local, state or federal law enforcement experience.  Executive security experience in a corporate environment is preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated experience in defensive/tactical driving.

  • Deep familiarity with the Southern California metropolitan area.

  • Experience with CCTV, Access Control, GPS vehicle tracking devices and similar technologies.

  • Current and valid driver’s license and US Passport.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven experience in risk assessment, crisis management, and policy development.

  • College degree preferred but not required.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$121,770.00 - $148,830.00
