We’re looking for an experienced Executive Producer to lead the development of a cutting-edge game. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on production leader who thrives on collaboration, creative problem-solving, and guiding teams from concept to launch. As a key partner to the Game Director and studio leadership, the Executive Producer will drive production vision, ensure alignment across disciplines, and champion a sustainable, high-quality development culture that delivers unforgettable player experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management
  • Own the full production lifecycle of the project, from concept through launch and beyond.
  • Bring production vision to the table, partnering closely with the Game Director to translate creative vision into actionable production plans, milestone definitions, and long-term roadmaps.
  • Build adaptable processes that support the team’s needs as the project evolves, establishing strong fundamentals while staying adaptable.
  • Manage project budgets and forecasts in collaboration with studio leadership, ensuring resources are aligned with priorities.

  • Lead and mentor the production team, setting clear expectations and fostering growth.
  • Build strong relationships across disciplines and with external partners, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Communicate openly across the team and with studio leadership, providing transparency on progress, risks, and solutions.
  • Model calm, decisive leadership that supports both quality results and a healthy, sustainable development culture.

  • Experience and Knowledge
  • Champion production best practices that reflect the realities of the team, not just theory.
  • Collaborate with discipline leads to surface risks, identify solutions, prioritize trade-offs, and manage scope effectively.
  • Use playtests, data, and player feedback to inform planning, iteration, and long-term development goals.
  • Partner with Directors and the Executive Producer to improve internal workflows, streamline communication, and support long-term planning.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in game production, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality titles.
  • 5+ years of managing/mentoring direct reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to align diverse groups around shared goals.
  • Experienced in co-development and outsourcing.
  • Ability to think strategically and “big picture” but also dive into the details when the situation calls for it.
  • Skilled in Agile, hybrid, and waterfall production methodologies, with the judgment to apply the right approach at the right time.
  • Proficiency with production tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other project management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies, and knowing when to apply
  • Experience managing and mentoring other producers
  • Passion for games, curiosity about emerging trends, and commitment to delivering amazing experiences!

The annual salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $220,000 – $250,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors.  The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
