Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the Industrial Engineering team. This role would enable you to Improve manufacturability by standardizing both machine & method, with the product development team using PPA process, chassis & autonomation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction during PDRA (Product Development Risk Assessment), MI (Moulding Integration), FI (Factory Integration), and PP (Pre-Production) stages.
- Ensure the availability of the Tech Pack in collaboration with the PPA Champion.
- Continuously identify and implement automation opportunities to simplify and de-skill operations during the pre-production stage.
- Continuously explore methods to reduce machine requirements for layouts while ensuring machine availability for production.
- Prepare production layouts, Yamazumi Version 1, and machine setting STWs.
- Ensure the timely completion of chassis base manufacturing activities.
- Ensure team members are trained and certified to the required standards before PSD.
- Proactively identify shop floor abnormalities and take necessary actions to resolve them.
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance, health, and safety procedures throughout all physical and chemical testing processes to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Align and contribute to MOS (MAS Operating System) initiatives to achieve required operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in physical science, Statistics or Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- GSD License Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven people management abilities with a collaborative approach to team development.
