The Opportunity

With our rapidly growing organization and U.S. commercialization presence, we are seeking an experienced and enterprise-minded Executive Director, U.S. Region Operations to partner closely with the U.S. General Manager and cross-functional U.S. Region Leadership Team (USxLT) to help drive impact for patients and the business. This role will help further develop and implement key business processes, lead operations, shape how the organization scales, and ensure connectivity and strong communication across and beyond our function. This position reports to the SVP/General Manager, U.S. Region and will serve as a core member of the USxLT.

This role will partner closely with our the U.S. Region, Global Commercialization, Finance, Legal,etc. as well as other cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, execution, and organizational effectiveness across a diverse portfolio of global commercialization priorities. The role will establish and evolve scalable frameworks, planning processes, governance structures, and organizational capabilities that strengthen execution and support future growth.

Operating in a build-while-scaling environment, this leader will help shape how complex, cross-functional work gets done - bringing clarity, structure, and momentum while partnering closely with senior leaders across the region and organization..

  • Partner closely with the U.S. General Manager and Heads of U.S. Marketing/Field, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Analytics & Insights and Key Partners (e.g., HR, Finance, Legal/Compliance, IT/Business Systems, Corporate Relations) to guide and execute region strategies, plans and deliverables.

  • Establish and plan financial and strategic Key Operational review processes (Brand & Launch Planning, Business Reviews, Budgets, Projections) for U.S. Region and coordinate appropriate reviews with USxLT and beyond.

  • Lead coordination of key management presentations: content and FAQ coordination for key meetings including BoD and earnings presentations, launch readiness, performance, policy/access reviews as well as other key reviews.

  • Play a central role in defining U.S. Region organizational goals and strategic priorities (short and long term and as part of company goals); help set, track, review and communicate progress regularly.

  • Lead, set-up and plan USxLT meetings and other internal commercialization decision-making meetings in close collaboration with the relevant members.

  • Support U.S. General Manager and Region to develop a communication strategy and plan to implementing effective, efficient, and inspiring communication channels to drive a connected and movitated team.

  • Ensure operational processes & procedures are in place to drive an outcome-driven and effective USxLT and Region organization (leading governance & meeting set-up, agendas, minutes etc.).

  • Partner with Global Commercial Operations on shared deliverables and to drive alignment and identification of synergies broadly.

  • Optimize the effectiveness of interfaces across key functions to ensure collaboration and understanding of key initiatives and priorities.

  • Build and scale commercialization effectiveness capabilities, including project management, operations, governance, planning, tools, dashboards, and performance management processes.

  • Provide direct operational leadership across region, ensuring efficient planning cycles, operational discipline, and execution consistency.

  • Champion effective operational and change management strategies with enterprise mindset and lead change adoption efforts related to tools, processes and ways of working to ensure sustainable implementation with consideration of future scalability and organization growth.

  • Develop, grow, and lead a high-performing operations and administration team, creating scalable capabilities and ways of working that support the future needs of the organization.

  • Provide executive leadership and oversight in collaboration with Legal, Compliance and Medical, Finance and other stakeholders toestablish and maintain appropriate commercial governance, SOPs, and controls that enable effective, compliant commercialization in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

  • Champion “One RevMed” Culture: Take ownership for fostering and maintaining a unified, inclusive, and high-performing culture across all segments of the organization - local operating companies, global commercialization, R&D, G&A etc. Develop and implement initiatives that ensure every employee, regardless of location or function, experiences a consistent and positive “One RevMed” environment. Collaborate with leadership and HR to embed core values, drive engagement, and reinforce cultural alignment throughout RVMD.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including significant experience leading complex commercial or commercialization initiatives.

  • Experience supporting commercialization organizations, including involvement in launch readiness, brand planning, operational planning, and capability buildout.

  • Demonstrated Executive Director-level capability, including defining operating models, building scalable organizational capabilities, and driving cross-functional alignment in evolving organizations.

  • Strong operational leadership skills, including process design, governance, performance management, change management expertise, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Proven success partnering with senior commercial, medical, sales, analytics, and access leaders to enable organizational effectiveness.

  • Experience building and scaling high-performing teams and organizational capabilities.

  • Track record of thriving in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a hands-on, builder mindset.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear and actionable frameworks.

  • Strong systems thinking, judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PhD).

  • Oncology / specialty pharma commercialization experience.

  • Experience building and leading commercialization operations, PMO, organizational effectiveness, or business operations functions.

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
