Position Summary

As the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition – Corporate Services, you will serve as the business lead driving the vision, creation, development, and management of key short and long term strategies that supports hiring in our most critical business areas. This role will allow you to be seen as an innovative thinker, by successfully building and implementing a wide variety of approaches for a multi-faceted recruitment strategy to include agencies, conferences, college relations, academic skills programs, diversity strategy, referral programs, recruitment marketing (social media) and more. This position is a highly visible and impactful role, interacting with senior leaders (VP and above) and affords you the opportunity to showcase vision, collaboration, strong operational expertise, team development, execution and results.

You will accomplish this by:

  • Successfully creating relationships internally with primary business groups

  • Creating operational processes and structure that your team can follow to make them efficient and effective with hiring top talent

  • Leveraging a sense of urgency and innovation to forecast and hire niche, hard to find talent in an expansive growth environment

  • Defining recruiting metrics that monitor the overall health, performance and effectiveness of the team and processes

  • Improving candidate pipelines for all open positions, through a dedicated team and by leveraging innovative sourcing channels

As the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition – Corp Services, your success will be determined by the efficiency and speed in which we identify and hire talent, how the team operates and interacts with hiring leaders and your internal search team, in addition the candidate experience TA provides prospects. Your ability to be a self-starter, with experience building strong relationships and a passion for both the approach and execution will contribute to your success. In this role, you will direct and manage a team of full lifecycle recruiters focused on hiring top talent within our Enterprise. You will operate in a fast paced, independent, yet supportive environment where the team works in partnership and inspires each other.  You will also work with other groups such as our Strategy and Partnership, Talent Acquisition team plus the technology & recruitment marketing team to create effective recruitment and employment branding strategies to establish CVS Health as the company who is transforming healthcare in the marketplace.

In this role you will be an integral member of the Enterprise Talent Acquisition team, focused on strategically critical, difficult to fill roles that company leaders decide will make the most difference in our competitive advantage. This team is responsible for strategic / niche search capability that prides itself on developing strong networks, referrals and engaging otherwise “unavailable” talent in roles that are critical to our business. The contributions you will make as an Executive Director of Talent Acquisition will elevate the team around you and help find quality talent who wants to transform healthcare and help people on their path to better health
Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Leader with strong communication, strategy skills, annual planning, headcount expansion, contract management, and hiring delivery in an agile environment

  • 5+ years of consultative and influential leadership with clients, partners and the business up to C-suite

  • 3+ years of lead generation/sourcing/marketing, including the use of innovative, diverse strategies, technologies and tools that strength our brand and improve pipelines

  • Open to remote with the willingness and ability to be in the Hartford, CT/Woonsocket, RI offices based on needs of the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading a Talent Acquisition team supporting a Fortune100 company

  • TA in-depth experience leading tech recruiting functions

  • Experienced in all Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams

  • Outstanding organizational skills, specifically to ensure timely and proactive follow up with leadership and team

  • Innovative spirit with a desire to define and execute talent strategies

  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside of CVS Health

  • Proven track record of building and utilizing a data-driven approach to drive strategy

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$131,500.00 - $303,195.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
