About the role
Magnite is seeking an Executive Assistant, Marketing to help keep our Marketing team running smoothly. This role, which reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, combines executive support with hands-on operational ownership, with a strong focus on team operations. You’ll spend approximately 60% of your time on team operations and 40% on executive support (depending on seasonality).

You’ll be successful in this role if marketing spend is clearly tracked and well-managed with variances flagged early; vendor and purchasing workflows run on time with minimal rework; and marketing leaders are set up for success with clear agendas, seamless travel coordination, and timely expense reporting.
 

In this role you will:
 

Team Operations Support (approx. 60%)

  • Own budget and spend tracking, monitor pacing, and flag variances early for review

  • Manage procurement and vendor workflows, including POs, invoices, accruals, and Accounts Payable coordination

  • Coordinate logistics for team off-sites, all-hands, and events (venue/catering/scheduling) with strong attention to detail

  • Support special projects such as quarterly planning logistics, vendor renewals coordination, process improvements, and cross-functional coordination with People/IT/Finance
     

Executive and Leadership Support (approx. 40%)

  • Manage calendars and meetings across time zones while keeping the team’s operating cadence running smoothly, including leadership and our regular team meetings

  • Coordinate travel for marketing leadership, including last-minute changes

  • Manage expense reporting and reconciliation for marketing leadership

  • Prepare weekly agendas to help leaders focus on the highest-impact work  

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant (or similar role) supporting senior leaders (VP/C-level leaders) in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong operational rigor, with experience owning trackers, workflows, and recurring team cadences (budget/spend, procurement, onboarding, events)

  • Proven project coordination skills, with the ability to manage logistics, timelines, and stakeholders for team-wide initiatives

  • Experience with budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and/or procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Concur, Oracle) is highly preferred

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and the ability to prioritize competing requests 

  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities

  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach with the ability to build strong relationships across People, IT, and Finance

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and an aptitude for learning internal systems quickly

  • High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information

In CA, the hourly pay range for this position is: $33.00 - $53.00 per hour in addition to company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
