Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Events Marketing Manager to join our remote team. The Events Marketing Manager will strategically plan, market, and execute high-impact events ranging from executive roundtables to large-scale conferences that build brand visibility, strengthen corporate partnerships, and generate measurable business results. Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of in-person or virtual events, including executive roundtables, webinars, and conferences (from dozens to several hundred attendees, including international participants).
- Take ownership of back-end operations (event logistics, vendor management, budgets, technical setup) while collaborating on front-end guest experience.
- Co-plan and co-host events with industry partners, ensuring joint objectives are met.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-level corporate partners.
- Negotiate sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and collaboration deals that enhance event value and reach.
- Develop creative partnership concepts to increase brand exposure and event attendance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create integrated promotional campaigns for events.
- Work closely with sales to ensure event initiatives support revenue goals and drive qualified leads.
- Manage event-related content creation, including invitations, landing pages, and social media campaigns.
- Track and report event ROI, analyzing engagement, leads, and revenue to improve future events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in event marketing, event management, or a similar role.
- Proven success managing small-scale and large-scale events, including virtual and in-person formats.
- Experience working with C-suite or senior-level corporate partners.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure valuable sponsorships and partnerships.
- Excellent organizational skills with a talent for balancing multiple projects.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with marketing and sales teams.
- International event experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

Salary range $55,000 to $70,000 DOE; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A range of benefits may include equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off may be provided as part of the compensation package.
