IVIX is seeking an Events Marketing Manager to elevate our growing events program. In this

role, you’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating events to promote IVIX at

industry conferences. Events are a critical component of our marketing strategy, driving brand

awareness, networking, and sales pipeline. You will be a brand evangelist and build

relationships inside and outside the company, partnering closely with external agencies and

event organizations, in addition to internal sales and product teams, to ensure strong alignment

and world-class execution.

The conferences you manage and attend will be located primarily in the U.S., with a handful

potentially occurring in Latin America, Europe, and elsewhere. This role is fully remote, and

reports to the VP Marketing. Candidates must reside in the U.S. Central or Eastern time zones,

ideally in the Austin, Tx area.

About the postion
  • Research, develop & maintain an events calendar, including priority and level of participation based on company goals
  • Coordinate with vendors on all events materials (booth design and elements, swag design, bag items, collateral needs) as well as presentation and sponsorship needs (speaker bios, presentation descriptions, etc.)
  • Coordinate with marketing leadership on events promotion plan (social, website, emails, bag items, logos for sponsorships)
  • Coordinate with sales and product teams on event presentations to ensure presentation slides & demo’s are ready in time, and speakers are prepared
  • Maintain master events tracker for all show details
  • Attend and support events as needed
  • Coordinate onsite with vendors (booth setup/tear down, materials shipping/receiving, team photos, presentation support & attendance counts, booth help, swag storage/giveaway, WIFI/power/AV needs, lead capture)
  • Collect leads at event and input into HubSpot for team review/prioritization/next steps
  • Coordinate with marketing leadership on budget and expenditures for each event
  • Compile and maintain event metrics (leads, booth traffic, presentation attendance, giveaways, etc.)
  • Manage event inventory (banners/signs, booth elements, collateral, giveaways)
  • Actively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across event operations as our events program expands in 2025 and beyond

Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience planning, managing, and achieving strong outcomes for industry events. Must have event management experience in the U.S.; experience with events outside the U.S. is a bonus.
  • Tax or Financial Crime industry experience/events experience is preferred, but not required. 
  • Expertise in project management, with strong operational and organization skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage simultaneous events, vendors, and projects.
  • Proven success in establishing and owning relationships with key event vendors and stakeholders.
  • Excels at cross-group collaboration, communication and problem solving. 
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs and related marketing/ communications technologies; experience with Hubspot and CVENT are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as required for events, and travel as needed.

Location: Central or Eastern Time Zones, ideally in the Austin, Tx area

Pay is commensurate with experience.
