Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and seminars to social gatherings and community festivals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of various events from inception to completion.
  • Support the events team in managing event logistics including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm deliveries and services.
  • Help prepare event materials such as signage, registration packages, and attendee lists.
  • Provide onsite assistance during events to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.
  • Manage inventory of event supplies and assist in maintaining organized storage.
  • Coordinate transportation and accommodation arrangements for event participants when necessary.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an events support or administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software.
