The Role

eTailer Account Manager – iHerb - is responsible for leading, developing, and executing all aspects of the iHerb business strategy for the global markets. This role oversees full P&L ownership, marketplace operations, assortment strategy, forecasting, promotions, operational excellence, and cross functional coordination. The ideal candidate combines strong eCommerce acumen with key account management excellence, marketplace fluency, analytical strength, and strong leadership skills


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Global iHerb business strategy to drive growth, profitability, and brand stewardship. Own annual and quarterly planning, revenue forecasting, and P&L performance.
  • Identify business opportunities, category expansion areas, and new initiatives that drive incremental growth.
  • Partner with iHerb to develop retail media plans that deliver strong ROI.
  • Oversee end-to-end marketplace management including listings, catalog accuracy, pricing, availability, and customer experience.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to ensure inventory forecasting, replenishment accuracy, and optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Customer Experience teams to ensure operational compliance and efficiency.
  • Lead retail negotiations, joint business planning, promotional calendars, and marketing activations with iHerb
  • Monitor competitive landscape and marketplace trends to inform pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance, margin drivers, customer behavior, and product trends to optimize business outcomes.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews covering performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Use data to diagnose business challenges and influence strategic decisions.
  • Maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for all aspects of the iHerb business.

Basic Requirements


Experience/Training/Education

  • 5-10 years’ experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce roles building growth and driving sales
  • History of successful 0->1 implementation
  • Strong network with industry partners and key marketplace platforms
  • Financial management experience of running and being responsible for a full commercial P&L
  • Deep familiarity with marketing and ecommerce automation tools
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerBI. Experience with VMS, Pharma or FMCG categories highly regarded
  • Experience managing and leading technological and digital change throughout an organisation; ideally with global and local stakeholders
  • Experience working with international e-tailers or in international sales is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing social media campaigns that clearly identify target audiences and engage, inform and motivate
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills using multiple tools
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders and effectively influence both internally and externally to achieve business goals
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills
  • Ability to travel in the US quarterly

Compensation


The current range for this remote role based out of (Central or Eastern Time Zone preferred) is $108,099/yr to $131,411/yr.


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  


This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
