Wells Fargo Securities, LLC seeks a Equity Research Associate in New York, NY.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Develop expertise on companies in the Energy-Oil & Gas sector. Write research reports on key company updates and industry themes. Create and update financial models and databases. Attend company and industry events; cultivate relationships with covered companies and industry contacts. Communicate team views on covered companies with internal and external constituents. Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:
Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, or related field.
Amount and type of experience required: 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related field within the equity research industry.
Specific skills required:
• 3 years of experience with securities research;
• Experience with Financial modeling in Excel;
• Experience with BlueMatrix publishing software;
• Experience with Power Point;
• Strong written and verbal communication; and
• Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 FINRA certification.
Salary: $179,088 - $224,000
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
