Sell life insurance to consumers who have requested assistance, using provided leads and guided conversations. Complete training, receive ongoing mentorship, address customer objections, and guide prospects toward coverage decisions. Compensation is entirely commission-based, with uncapped earnings and performance incentives. Applicants must reside in the U.S., pass a background check, and hold or obtain a Life and Health insurance license.

This role was built for someone starting their sales career, not someone leaving one behind — which shapes everything about how we've structured training, mentorship, and expectations.

What "Built for Beginners" Actually Means

Rather than assuming baseline sales knowledge, our onboarding starts from true fundamentals: what life insurance actually does, why families need different types of coverage, and how to have a natural conversation about it rather than reading from a script. You'll learn a proven system for guiding these conversations toward a decision, working exclusively with leads who already requested help — never cold calls, at any stage of your time here.

Mentorship That Continues Past Onboarding

Once you're taking live calls, you're paired with a mentor who's available for questions, tricky objections, or general guidance as you build confidence. This support doesn't disappear after your first week — it continues as you grow into full independent production.

Compensation

Money here works like this: 100% commission, uncapped, averaging $800 to $1,200 per sale. Based on typical effort:

  • $50,000+ part-time in year one
  • $80,000 to $300,000+ full-time in year one

Pay comes in on a daily/weekly basis, and performance-based incentives are available on top for reps who hit certain benchmarks.

Basic Requirements

  • U.S. residency
  • Clean background check
  • A Life & Health insurance license, or willingness to obtain one — full guidance provided if you're not there yet

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
