We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the events industry and gain hands-on experience in event planning, coordination, and execution. The successful candidate will work closely with senior event coordinators to support all facets of event management, from initial concept development to post-event evaluations
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of events including conferences, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate communication with clients, vendors, and venues to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Support the logistics and on-site management of events, including setup and breakdown.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, budgets, and expenses.
- Help create event materials such as agendas, attendee lists, and signage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as event schedules require.
