Entry Level Business Manager Responsibilities:

  • Seek new business opportunities by establishing and expanding relationships with current and prospective decision-makers
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, services, pricing, and sales promotions by attending daily meetings and training courses
  • Contact potential clients through lead generation and residential visits
  • Study each product offered by our top tier clients and be able to persuasively educate potential consumers of how each works and its specifications; understand how to upsell and recommend complementary merchandise
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction and improve profit margins
  • Present sales pitches, product reports, and other valuable data to potential consumers in a way that promotes our clients brand and mission and helps the audience identify a need for the product or service
  • Participate in the development of business plans and be prepared to review and discuss ideas with senior leadership

Entry Level Business Manager Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Representative, Account Manager or similar role
  • Driven self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality who is capable of working independently to exceed sales objectives
  • Experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail in all task completions
