Respondology is looking for a hungry, curious, and high-energy Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing revenue team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in an outbound or hybrid sales role—ideally within a SaaS or startup environment—who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow alongside a seasoned SDR Manager and experienced sales organization.

You’ll be on the front lines of our go-to-market motion, identifying and engaging high-potential prospects, creating meaningful conversations, and generating qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to help build the foundation of a high-performing sales development program.

At Respondology, we don’t do cookie-cutter outreach. We’re looking for a strategic communicator who can personalize outreach, understand customer needs, and help articulate how Respondology can solve real problems for some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

Respondology is the AI-powered social comments company for moderating unwanted content, surfacing insights, and engaging at any scale. Typical social tools completely ignore the comment sections. We surface the ideas and sentiment that help you shape content and campaigns, while our AI-plus-human safety net discreetly hide spam, piracy, fraud, and hate on the spot.

Fast to deploy. Easy to use. Trusted by hundreds of leading brands to optimize their organic and paid social performance. At Respondology, We Leverage Technology for Good.

**This is a Remote role, available to hire in the US

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential prospects through tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, and other CRM platforms
  • Use strategic omni-channel outreach. Cold Calling is a big part of our day along with email & LinkedIn.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts, and pipeline progress in CRM (we use Hubspot)
  • Partner closely with the SDR Manager to refine outreach strategy and improve conversion rates
  • Actively participate in weekly pipeline reviews, training sessions, and feedback loops
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly targets for outreach activity, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities generated

Here's what you need to get our attention:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an SDR or BDR role, preferably in a SaaS or tech-focused environment
  • Clear, concise communicator—both written and verbal—with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience using sales tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Nooks, Apollo.
  • Experience in omni-channel outreach, especially cold calling.

Here’s what will make us call you for sure:

  • Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to team success
  • Creative thinker who’s excited to try new outreach strategies and learn from results
  • Startup experience is a big plus—you’re comfortable with change and energized by growth
  • Want to stand out from the crowd?
Don’t just submit your application and hope for the best. Show us how you’d do the job. Take the initiative to prospect the hiring manager—just like you would in the role. Contact info: Dan Solomon; [email protected]; https://www.linkedin.com/in/dan-solomon-respondology/

Compensation: OTE $75k-$85k DOE with mix of base and commission

And if we haven't convinced you yet, here is why you'll want to be part of our team:

  • We have a values-led culture with team members who have your back.
  • We support 100% remote employment or you may come into our beautiful offices if you’re near Boulder, CO—dogs welcome.
  • We understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance through providing flexible work arrangements, as well as a Flex PTO plan with generous holidays including a break between Christmas and New Years.
  • We offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to support employee and family well-being including 100% fully paid family leave policies, life insurance and supplemental insurance options.
  • We provide matching traditional and Roth 401k, fully vested from day one.

Come as you are: Your background, your beliefs, your pet projects, your playlist—none of those should hold you back from applying.  If you’re great at what you do and want to be part of something that’s making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
