As an Enterprise Program Manager at BECU, you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic outcomes by bringing cross-functional teams together and guiding complex, multi-stream initiatives across the Credit Union. You’ll collaborate with teams across both Technology and the Business to turn big ideas into measurable impact — ensuring programs are executed with clarity, agility, and purpose. • Guide Strategic Programs from Start to Finish: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs with multiple project teams. Keep everything aligned with business goals and technical priorities.

  • Champion Agile, Collaborative Planning: Work iteratively with stakeholders and customers to gather and refine requirements in real time — translating vision into tangible action.

  • Shape and Evolve Governance: Partner with Tech Product Owners and Leadership to define and adjust governance structures as the program evolves.

  • Ensure Measurable Business Outcomes: Define success metrics for each project within the program and ensure results are clearly communicated and delivered.

  • Oversee Program Financials and Resources: Build and manage program budgets, resource plans, and schedules — always keeping an eye on risk and dependencies.

  • Navigate Challenges with Confidence: Identify roadblocks and solve problems across teams while maintaining focus on outcomes, quality, and timelines.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Enhance project delivery processes across the program lifecycle and identify tech practices that improve efficiency.

  • Coach and Mentor Others: Support newer project managers and team members with guidance, feedback, and hands-on leadership.

  • Collaborate Across the Enterprise: Ensure cross-department alignment and communication through thoughtful planning, clear documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Manage External Partners: Review vendor SOWs/contracts and oversee third-party resources as needed.

  • Lead Release and Go-Live Strategies: Coordinate successful program launches, manage go-live plans, and support post-implementation success.

This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list. It's about making a significant, positive change in BECU’s journey, where your contributions are valued, and your growth is continually fostered.

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

  • Opportunities to lead high-visibility, enterprise-wide initiatives that drive real member impact

  • A culture of collaboration, growth, and shared purpose

  • Flexibility in work location with a supportive hybrid/remote environment

  • The chance to mentor others and build lasting partnerships across the organization

  • A mission-driven environment where innovation is encouraged and celebrated

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing delivery using Agile and Waterfall

  • Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
