Job Summary:
Support multiple teams within the enterprise data warehouse group by creating reports, visualizations, dashboards, and documentation. Assist in the design of business processes and technology solutions to meet reporting needs. Participate on project teams to deliver solutions. Respond quickly to user requests for assistance and provide support as needed. Develop knowledge of the business through interactions with users and other team members. Gain exposure to all aspects of the EDW organization including project management, data modeling, ETL development, application development, testing, deployment, operations, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide basic analytic support for EDW projects
• Work with internal staff and external vendors to develop new or enhance existing business intelligence (BI) solutions
• Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities to improve current BI capabilities
• Assist in developing documentation for new or enhanced BI solutions
• May assist in gathering requirements from end users
• Under close supervision, prepare simple reports, charts, graphs, or visualizations
• Use query tools to extract data from one or more data sources
• Perform basic data analysis tasks
• Assist in identifying areas where process improvements are needed
• Escalation point for issues related to reporting and/or data access
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years in reporting, data analytics, or data visualization or similar experience
  • Advanced excel skills
• Minimum 1 year experience with SQL and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
• Basic understanding of healthcare industry
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying workloads
• Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., VBA, JavaScript, Perl, Python, etc.)
• Experience with data extraction and manipulation using various methods (e.g., ETL, screen scraping, web services, etc.)
• Certification in SQL, BI tool(s), or relevant field is a plus

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$69,900 - $116,500
