About the role:

At Medallion, our greatest asset is our people. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth with large enterprise provider groups nationwide. You’ll spend your days engaging prospects, delivering multiple high-impact pitches, and directly contributing to the new business team’s success in meeting ambitious targets.

This is a full-cycle enterprise sales role. You'll own your deals from first conversation to signed contract: building pipeline, running discovery with senior stakeholders, leading high-impact pitches, and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You'll partner closely with BDRs, solution consultants, and our client teams, but the number is yours, and so is the strategy for getting there.

This role reports to the Enterprise Sales Director. Base compensation may land around $145k - $160k ($290k - $320k OTE, 50/50 base and variable). Beyond base salary, Medallion offers competitive equity and benefits as part of the total compensation package. Many factors are considered when determining pay, including market data, geographic location, skills, qualifications, experience, and level.

Responsibilities:
  • Own a territory of enterprise provider groups and build the account strategy for it, working with BDR and marketing teams to open doors
  • Run discovery that gets to the real problem. You'll learn how each prospect manages credentialing and enrollment today and where it's costing them time, revenue, or compliance risk
  • Tell a sharp, tailored story about how Medallion solves those problems, and bring in solution consultants and subject matter experts at the right moments
  • Navigate long, multi-threaded sales cycles with operations, revenue cycle, compliance, finance, and executive buyers
  • Build and maintain an accurate pipeline in Salesforce, forecast with confidence, and keep next steps clear on every deal
  • Stay close to the market and the competition so you can position Medallion credibly and win on value
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a high-growth startup environment
  • 4+ years as an Enterprise Account Executive with a proven track record of successfully carrying a $1M+ quota
  • A history of closing complex six-figure deals and leading full-cycle sales processes from prospecting to close
  • Hunter mentality—proven experience building and maintaining a high-quality, accurate pipeline
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a sharp focus on storytelling and persuasion
  • Organization and follow-through to manage multiple complex deals at once, plus comfort working cross-functionally at every level
  • Curiosity and the ability to learn new technology quickly and explain why it matters
  • Experience selling into healthcare provider organizations, health systems, or healthcare operations software is a plus

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
