Join the BAE SYSTEMS F-35 Aircraft Health Management team and lead our efforts in developing and delivering outstanding Data Science/Analytics capabilities to the customer. You will lead a team of data analytics and systems/software engineers in the US. You will also be a champion for highly collaborative working with the BAE SYSTEMS team in the UK.
Working closely with Lockheed Martin you will be responsible for development and delivery of highly optimized data analytics capabilities within a governed Quality Management System. You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of these products. You will carry out work within an Agile development and deployment framework.
Relationship building, strategic thinking and vision are critical to the success of this role in identifying how we will deliver high quality but affordable products and services as the fleet grows exponentially and keeping our capabilities sold to the customer.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Data Analytics / Data Science techniques as applied to large, imperfect datasets
- Team management/leadership experience including staff recruitment, management of performance and career development
- Track record of delivery to formal contractual milestones in a high pressure environment
- Firm grasp of Project Management / Earned Value Management principles with demonstrated application in prior work
- Ability to support bid and proposal development with sound rationale and a demonstrated record of securing business growth
- Ability to manage and influence key external and internal stakeholders
- Experience of quality management practices as applied to data analysis and/or software development (AS9100D or similar)
- Experience in the application of Agile workflow methodologies
- Demonstrated willingness to take on responsibilities outside the day job
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of the latest data analytics and data science techniques including Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
