Responsibilities

Salary: $26/hour

Position Overview:

The Engineering Intern effectively assists Manufacturing Management with various productivity initiatives and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work together with floor personnel to gather samples and discover methods to improve tool quality and efficiency.
  • Create work instructions where needed.
  • Manage and organize multiple priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Participate in kaizens and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Coursework towards Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Junior or Senior standing preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office ' Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
