Web Developer, Operations

We are looking for a Web Developer to join Snap Inc! As a member of our Shared Services team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the websites that our Support and Sales teams rely on to help solve issues for our community. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will play a key role in shaping Snapchat's online support presence to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience using our products.
What you’ll do:
- Build scalable front end web applications to support the growing needs of the business
- Work with multidisciplinary teams across the organization to ensure Snap Inc.’s web properties leverage the potential of existing systems and data
- Understand the needs of Snapchatters, publishers, and advertisers to deliver intuitive and interactive experiences to support them
- Manage projects and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Build secure interfaces which protect sensitive user and customer data
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer-facing web applications
Preferred qualifications:
- Passion for great design and usability
- Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, Backbone)
- Familiarity with internationalization engineering standards and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to identify, and communicate data-driven insights
- Expertise in cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and other front end technologies
- Experience developing third-party RESTful API integrations (Zendesk)
