Sr. Manager, Global Security Operations
We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Global Security Operations to join our Snap Inc! As a member of Snap’s Global Security team, you will aid in creating and iterating on processes and procedures that directly assist in protecting Snap’s team members, offices, technologies. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll lead a 24/7 Security Team that supports all Snap enterprises worldwide. Additionally, you’ll develop and maintain our security technology capabilities and optimize our security preparedness and emergency response.
What you’ll do:
Lead and develop our Campus Security and Global Operations Center team members
Develop and execute a cohesive strategy for the teams you manage
Oversee emergency and critical incident response processes to ensure appropriate coverage and communication in times of emergency
Partner with Global Risk Team to enhance programs supporting Snap operations
Develop technology platforms to create an integrated common operating picture for the business to provide global situational awareness
Assist the IT and Facilities teams with security systems technology integration, design, and implementation
Manage and develop a multi-vendor / consultant network as well as leverage existing network to ensure appropriate solutions are in place to minimize business risk exposure
Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with relevant external entities, such as government and law enforcement agencies, industry members, regulatory agencies, and private sector counterparts
Work effectively with site leadership and other stakeholders such as Facilities, Construction, HR, Finance, IT, and Legal to address security requirements, new office space layouts, and any potential concerns
Minimum qualifications:
10+ years of experience in corporate security, or equivalent work experience
Experience in leading a Security team
Preferred qualifications:
8+ years in leadership role is highly preferred
Ability to speak a second language at business proficient level a plus
Experience managing vendors and security technology platforms
Available to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends
Prior experience in security policy development, compliance activities and project management
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Experience developing, training, and directing security teams
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other Snap groups, teams and stakeholders globally to implement security programs, practices, and procedures across the organization
Adaptability to Snap’s culture, pace of operations and requirements
Firm understanding of security controls and best practices to secure varying platforms
