What You’ll Do

• Work as part of a cross-functional team to meet the needs of a rapidly-scaling business.

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to transform business requirements into working software.

• Learn alongside other engineers as we solve the problems presented by a unique business domain.

• Mentor other engineers to help our team grow into an enterprise-level technology organization.

Who you are

• Possess 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Experienced at designing and building microservice architectures.

• Experienced at writing maintainable, enterprise-quality code (preferably in GoLang, but languages like Java or C# offer a similar background.)

• Experienced at using RDBMS solutions, such as PostgreSQL.

• Familiar with NoSQL solutions, such as Redis, ElasticSearch, or DynamoDB.

• Familiar with event-driven and streaming architectures, using tools like Kafka, Kinesis, or SNS.

• Familiar with AWS and building distributed systems in the cloud.

• Enjoy using a test-driven approach to development.

• Comfortable building systems with small, frequent releases through a CI/CD pipeline.

• Experienced at applying strict regulatory, compliance, and security requirements to software systems.

• Excellent at communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Enjoy working in an agile environment.

• Open-minded, and always willing to test out new ideas, technologies, and processes.
