As a Senior VoIP Network Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the ServiceTitan telecom platform during its regular operation.  Additionally, you will be part of the team that plans and improves our voice network infrastructure. This position is a critical bridge between our infrastructure and telecom teams, providing real-time operational data and insight into the stability of our product.

As our Senior VoIP Network Engineer you will:

• Provide technical instruction and implementation regarding best practices and procedures for voice networks
• Assist with planning and troubleshooting of voice networks
• Collaborate with support staff to resolve customer escalations
• Review voice network statistics, metrics and processes to improve the operational efficiency of the platform
• Interface with third-party vendors of telecommunications solutions regarding troubleshooting and configuration issues
• Plan and perform interoperability testing for telecommunications solutions
• Monitor and perform maintenance on the voice components of the ST application

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Expert understanding of SIP protocols, including the ability to diagnose and correct call flows.  Experience with WebRTC and NAT traversal troubleshooting is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing protocols, switches and OSI network layers
• Experience with VLANs, subnetting, and firewalls
• Expert knowledge of PBX / IVR routing concepts
• 3+ years experience with supporting telecom carrier operations
• 6+ years of work experience in a VoIP engineer position, preferably at a VoIP provider
• 2+ years experience with open-source telecom platforms such as FreeSWITCH and Kamailio
• Understanding of how to diagnose and correct infrastructure and network interconnectivity issues
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
