We’re looking for a Privacy Software Engineer to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Privacy Engineering team, you will develop next-generation privacy technologies that impact how we collect, use, and share user data. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll be collaborating across the company and touch on all stages of user data lifecycle; from client-side data collection, to differentially-private data releases to our advertisers/publishers, and aggregating/data sharing using secure multi-party computing techniques.
What you’ll do:
Use data anonymization and cryptographic techniques to develop systems that will preserve and improve privacy protection
Guide the development of industry leading privacy products and features
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the following areas: differential privacy, data anonymization or secure multi-party computing
Experience with C/C++ Or Java Or Python Or R.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in privacy/cryptography/statistics preferred
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in differential privacy or secure multi-party computing (preferred)
