We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering manager to join Snap Lab. Working from our Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, or Mountain View office you will help to ensure Snaps role in a mixed reality future. You will be tasked with solving interesting technical challenges such as architecting and deploying solutions optimizing usability and performance in a power and thermal constrained environment. You will also be balancing developing use cases for end users as well as platform components and SDKs for both internal and external developers.

Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of every decision
Perform code reviews and ensure exceptional code quality
Build robust, lasting, and scalable products
Iterate quickly without compromising quality
Define clear success metrics for the team
Grow the careers of the engineers on the team
What we're looking for:
BS/BA in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years of direct management experience of software engineering teams
Software development and design expertise
Experience with mobile apps, XR and/or graphics
Creative and adaptable product thinking
