Your Mission

As an Engagement Specialist, you'll be the first voice patients hear and the catalyst for their healthcare transformation. You'll guide individuals from initial curiosity to active participation in their care, using your communication skills to motivate real health improvements.

What You'll Accomplish:

  • Connect & Inspire: Conduct outreach calls that educate and motivate patients to engage with Galileo's services

  • Close Care Gaps: Help patients access overdue preventative screenings and essential health services

  • Build Relationships: Use motivational interviewing and active listening to understand each patient's unique needs

  • Drive Results: Meet engagement and quality improvement targets while supporting individual patient success

  • Master Multiple Systems: Navigate CRM, EHR, and scheduling platforms to solve problems efficiently

  • Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with Population Health teams and Practice Managers to optimize patient outcomes

What You Bring

Essential Experience:

  • 1+ years in high-volume, results-driven outreach (healthcare experience preferred but not required)

  • Proven ability to build rapport and influence positive action through phone communication

  • Comfort with multi-platform technology (CRM, EMR, Google Suite, Smartsheets)

  • Self-directed work style with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance, HEDIS quality measures, or population health initiatives

  • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid populations

  • Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities

  • Background in health coaching, care coordination, or patient education

Compensation: $28-32/hour based on experience and market factors
