As an Employment Tax Operations Associate in the HRGO Governance and Regulation Team, you will lead key tax-related projects and manage operational delivery across EMEA. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage key tax-related projects in collaboration with employee tax advisory, payroll, and operational partners.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring effective governance and accountability.
- Develop and maintain the EMEA Employment Tax Program pipeline, addressing new applications, modifications, and decommissioning of outdated practices.
- Coordinate monthly governance forums on EMEA tax matters and provide updates to management.
- Act as the key liaison between HR functions, tax advisory, and vendors to ensure tax compliance.
- Partner with stakeholders to communicate local taxation advice and ensure compliance.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring audit-ready processes.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Knowledge of employment tax across EMEA.
- Relevant experience in professional services, financial services, tax or accounting firms, or human resources.
- Background in HR operations (e.g., payroll) and project management, with the ability to engage multiple management layers.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills; self-starter with the ability to understand complex issues.
- Experience in driving large-scale change agendas with a strong risk and control mindset.

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
