We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Technician I to join our electronics production team. In this entry-level role, you will assist with basic soldering, wire preparation, and cable/harness assembly under close supervision. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in electronics manufacturing and learn industry standards such as IPC.

Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gains familiarity with Electrical Engineering Technician practices and processes.
- With guidance, performs or assists with a variety of technician responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Perform basic soldering tasks on electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) following work instructions and visual aids.
- Assist in the assembly of cable and wire harnesses using crimping tools, wire strippers, and hand tools.
- Prepare wires by cutting, stripping, and tinning as required for assembly.
- Adhere to all required engineering safety guidelines and protocols such as Electrostatic Discharge, and cleanroom procedures.
- Learn and apply J-STD-001 guidelines as part of on-the-job training.
- Use microscopes or magnifiers for fine-detail inspection and other electrical equipment to ensure reliable performance and accurate measurements.
- Handle and clean PCBs for inspection and testing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Support and collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to contribute to team goals by following instructions and meeting production deadlines and quality standards.
- Update and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years' experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of soldering or electronics assembly experience (training will be provided).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn industry standards and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of tools used in wire and cable assembly (crimpers, wire strippers, etc.).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience working in electronics manufacturing or soldering is strongly preferred.
