We are looking for an Education Partnerships & Recognitions Manager (USA & Canada) who will play a pivotal role in increasing recognition of the LANGUAGECERT range of English language exams by educational institutions across the USA and Canada. Through a deep understanding of the PeopleCert Group and its go-to-market strategy, the successful candidate will build strong relationships with key decision-makers in universities, colleges, government bodies, professional associations and education agencies - while driving strategic growth in this high-potential region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for LANGUAGECERT portfolio. LANGUAGECERT is a UKVI accredited SELT provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with education institutions, government bodies, and agencies across the USA and Canada.
  • Lead recognition efforts for LANGUAGECERT exams in the USA & Canada market, particularly for international student admissions and academic progression.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers in institutions responsible for approving English language qualifications.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to ensure alignment between recognition goals and broader business strategies.
  • Monitor external developments including policy developments, legislative change, and the opportunities which these provide for LANGUAGECERT to expand its partnerships and recognition to grow our customer base.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform internal strategy and enhance service delivery along with client experience.
  • Represent LANGUAGECERT at conferences, forums, and working groups relevant to international education.
  • Develop and execute country-specific strategies and recognition campaigns in collaboration with the global partnerships team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all interactions, prospects, and opportunities.
  • Create and localize promotional content for the USA & Canada education audience.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and key developments to internal stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and undertake additional responsibilities as required by the Director, Oceania & East Asia.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree is essential; a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in the international higher education sector in Canada and/or the USA.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain institutional recognition for qualifications or education products.
  • Strong background in customer relationship management and institutional engagement.
  • Experience engaging higher education decision-makers and negotiating admissions-related collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and self-driven with a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer literacy: experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience working across global teams or in multicultural settings.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in US and/or Canada; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
