Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) has an exciting opportunity and immediate need for E-7A Systems Engineers to join our E-7A Systems Engineering team based in Tukwila, WA. Due to expanding business, we are looking for Engineers with a multi discipline skill set who build a systems engineering baseline, solve problems, integrate across teams, and lead solutions across multiple Engineering disciplines.
The E-7 is the world's most advanced, capable, and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships. This position will work across multiple E-7A programs supporting development of new capabilities for the E-7A program in a dynamic and engaging environment.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Lead Level Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

- Create physical, operational, logical, and functional architectures, and develop the interdependencies of these architectures.
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates customer and/or operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
- Develops the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
- Develops the planning and execution of requirements-based verification.
- Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering, including system architecture, requirements and interface development and allocation, verification and validation.
- Experience creating MBSE systems models in Cameo, Magic Systems of Systems Architect (MSOSA), or similar software.
- Experience with requirements validation and verification.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience with military platforms.
- Technical knowledge of aircraft, mission and ground systems for military platforms.
- Experience with Interface Controls Documents and Functional Schematics.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables.
- Experience in interface development and documentation.
- Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management.
- Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (including FAA, EASA, Military).
- INCOSE Certification.
