We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to support our underwriting division, helping drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth.

About The Role:

The Product Marketing Manager will report to the VP of Marketing of SPG and act as the bridge between SPG’s Marketing Team and the leadership of the Underwriting Division. This role will be pivotal in driving go-to-market strategies, supporting product positioning, and ensuring cohesive marketing efforts between the parent brand and the Underwriting Division.

The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that support the underwriting division’s goals. This role requires a creative thinker with strong project management skills and a proven track record of creating a variety of sales and marketing collateral that tells the story, value proposition and differentiators of our Underwriting Programs.

Work Location:

Hybrid in office 3 days a week at 150 N Riverside Plaza, Chicago IL

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to support underwriting goals, including lead generation, brand awareness, and client engagement.

  • Collaborate with underwriting teams/brands to understand product offerings and create tailored marketing campaigns.

  • Produce high-quality content including brochures, presentations, white papers, and case studies.

  • Manage content creation and updates for WordPress websites, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.

  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including content creation, audience segmentation, and performance analysis.

  • Manage multi-channel marketing efforts including digital, print, social media, and events.

  • Utilize data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

  • Oversee marketing collateral development and ensure brand consistency across all materials.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for marketing projects as needed.

  • Support business development efforts by creating proposal templates, pitch decks, and client presentations.

  • Manage budget allocation for underwriting marketing initiatives.

  • Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities for innovative marketing approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within insurance, finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with B2B marketing strategies and content creation.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or relevant field.

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000, with additional discretionary bonus opportunity. This compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
