The work our team does impacts the DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS® organization directly by managing the pricing and offer strategy across our various market segments. As a Summer Intern, you will not just watch from the sidelines, you will get hands-on experience working on high-value projects directly impacting our revenue and profitability, putting your education and skills to the test to see real-world effects.
 

Primary focus areas include:

  • Data Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain financial models to evaluate existing pricing structures and measure the effectiveness of our offer constructs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams to bring pricing projects from conception to market execution while ensuring complete brand consistency.
  • Market Intelligence: Identify customer segmentation trends and targeting opportunities, making pricing recommendations backed by competitive research and market needs.
  • Strategy Execution: Learn how complex pricing structures are built and modeled for long-term profitability.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze contract value, customer lifetime value, and promotional attach rates to measure the overall profitability of our national and short-term offers.

Who We’re Looking For 

  • Student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic financial data modeling)
  • Comfortable with and strong interest in understanding data (trend reports, offer usage reports, etc.) and turning numbers into simple business stories
  • Experience in virtual, cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience speaking with and presenting to leaders
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize
  • Skillful in written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and able to hold oneself accountable to tasks in a virtual environment

Program Details

  • Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a virtual position that can be located anywhere in the United States.)
  • Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27
  • Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
  • This position can earn $20 - $28 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Undergrad $20 per hour; Grad $28 per hour.)
