Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.

Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.

Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.

If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

The Role

At Hadrian, the workplace is a critical enabler of speed, focus, and execution. As the company grows rapidly across multiple locations, we need an experienced leader who can design, build, and scale the workplace services function that supports our teams. This role focuses on the environments where our people work every day, including offices, shared spaces, physical security, and non machine related workplace infrastructure at manufacturing sites.

We are hiring a Workplace Services Leader to establish and lead the workplace services function at Hadrian. This role is responsible for setting strategy, building and managing the team, and overseeing the programs and vendors that keep our workplaces running smoothly. While this role will roll up sleeves initially due to the size of the team and pace of growth, the primary expectation is to build the team quickly and transition execution to coordinators, specialists, and facilities staff as soon as possible.

This is a leadership role for someone who can operate at the systems level, move fast, and create structure while the company is scaling aggressively.

What You’ll Do

Build and Scale the Workplace Services Function
  • Establish the workplace services vision, strategy, and operating model across all locations.

  • Design and rapidly build the workplace services org, including office operations, facilities coordination, physical security, and site support roles.

  • Hire, onboard, and develop a high performing team capable of executing day to day operations at scale.

  • Set clear ownership, service levels, and accountability so execution is distributed and consistent.

Oversee Workplace Infrastructure and Environment
  • Oversee office and workplace buildouts, expansions, and reconfigurations across locations.

  • Provide direction and oversight for initiatives such as soundproofing conference rooms, configuring desk layouts, selecting furniture, and ensuring functional workspaces.

  • Oversee coordination with electrical, networking, and facilities vendors to ensure all workspaces are powered, connected, and operational.

  • Oversee workplace infrastructure at manufacturing sites that supports employees, including offices, meeting rooms, break areas, and common spaces.

Physical Security Oversight
  • Oversee the workplace physical security program across all locations.

  • Provide leadership and direction for access control systems, badge programs, visitor management, and camera vendors.

  • Partner closely with IT, Security, and EHS on access requirements, incident response coordination, and site readiness.

  • Ensure physical security programs scale appropriately as new locations open and headcount grows.

Lead While Executing Temporarily
  • Step in as needed to support execution while the team is being built, without becoming the long term executor.

  • Focus personal effort on unblocking progress, setting direction, and enabling others to execute effectively.

  • Transition hands on work to team members quickly as roles are hired and onboarded.

Vendor, Budget, and Program Ownership
  • Own vendor strategy, selection, contracts, and performance management for workplace services and physical security.

  • Own the workplace services budget and forecasting as the company expands.

  • Balance speed, quality, and cost in a fast growing environment.

Cross Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with People Operations, IT, Finance, EHS, and other operational teams to ensure workplaces are aligned with company needs.

  • Collaborate with EHS on workspace design and site changes to ensure safety considerations are incorporated.

  • Ensure workplaces, access, and services are ready to support rapid onboarding and growth.

  • Partner with leadership on site strategy and future location planning.

Standards and Readiness
  • Establish and maintain workplace and security policies, documentation, and operating standards.

  • Ensure high levels of reliability, cleanliness, accessibility, and security across all sites.

  • Support audits or inspections related to facilities and security in partnership with relevant teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant proven experience in workplace services, facilities management, office operations, physical security, or related functions with increasing leadership scope.

  • Proven experience building and scaling teams in a high growth environment.

  • Strong track record of overseeing multi site workplace programs rather than personally executing long term.

  • Ability to move quickly from zero to structure while prioritizing what matters most.

  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and external partners at scale.

  • Excellent judgment, communication, and stakeholder leadership skills.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience supporting rapid headcount growth and opening new locations.

  • Background in environments that blend office and manufacturing settings.

  • Strong organizational design instincts and hiring judgment.

  • Ability to create leverage by building teams and systems quickly.

  • A pragmatic, ownership driven mindset with a bias toward speed and clarity.

  • Passion for building environments that help teams operate at their best.

Compensation

For this role, the target salary range is $155,000 - $250,000 (actual range may vary based on experience and performance).

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Benefits for Full-time Employees
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees

  • 401k

  • Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.

  • Flexible vacation policy

  • Equity

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
