  • Partner with finance leadership to align on future-state roles, responsibilities, and governance models

Technology Implementation & Data Foundation

  • Champion modernization of the finance function through digital tools in partnership with Tech leadership and stakeholders
  • Leverage the unified EPM implementation to drive Finance-led transformation.
  • Drive development of a centralized finance data foundation, data analytics with standard hierarchies, master data governance, and connected source systems

AI & Automation at Scale

  • Identify and embed AI/ML use cases (e.g., automated forecasting, scenario modeling, intelligent variance analysis) across planning and reporting cycles.
  • Develop operating models for AI agents to augment human decision-making.
  • Establish scalable governance and change management frameworks

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional transformation programs with clear KPIs, milestones, and executive visibility.
  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and internal teams to deliver against scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop capability throughout the organization to configure and maintain models and data.
  • Guide, coach and mentor the team to be able to navigate, be agile and deliver in a complex environment. Influence key collaborators across the organization, ensuring successful implementation of transformation initiatives that drive long-term, sustainable results.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategy, or transformation roles.

  • Proven track record of leading complex transformation programs involving both process redesign and technology enablement.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML in finance settings, including forecast modeling and intelligent automation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in large matrixed organizations; media/entertainment experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with well-developed planning and analytical skills, using a global perspective
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills.
  • Effective collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders, external consultants, and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to expertly field both internal & external business requests and manage priorities

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
