Regeneron is currently seeking a Director, Career Development on the Talent Management team. This position is responsible for developing a strategy for career development at Regeneron, and crafting, implementing, and leading programs that support career development, improve talent experiences, and promote internal mobility within the organization.

The role is a minimum of 4 days onsite, based at our HQ campus in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This role is not open to fully remote-based work arrangements.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Provides thought leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of career development.

  • Develops a strategy to include new employee programs, high potential programs and building a pipeline of internal talent.

  • Leads partners across the organization to engage them in the Career Development strategy, including senior leaders.

  • Evaluates, and reports on the efficiency of career development, talent experiences, and internal mobility programs to senior leadership.

  • Promotes internal mobility by creating strategies to provide employees with opportunities to grow and develop, and tools for leaders and managers to support.

  • Develops internal mobility framework and technology usage.

  • Develops and implements career development processes and programs with focus on driving ongoing career growth and development.

  • Collaborates to identify development and experiences for individuals identified as high-potential to accelerate their growth and advance their careers.

  • Builds effective development planning tool and ensures pull-through of development activities by the leader of high-potential talent.

  • Creates development planning tools (IDP) for all employees.

  • Collaborates with HR COEs and business leaders to identify talent gaps and develop strategic development plans to fill them.

  • Provides strategic direction and mentorship to employees and managers on career pathways.

  • Understands and shares industry trends and uses this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key collaborators to ensure the success initiatives. Develops continuous feedback loops for partners to share insights on talent management initiatives.

  • Leads and implements strategic early talent rotational programs.

To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 12+ years of experience in career development, talent management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Salary Range (annually)

$180,400.00 - $300,700.00
