FIGS is looking for a Director of Student Engagement  to drive the execution of targeted healthcare student growth strategies that build our brand and fuel business growth. From product launches, to partnerships and culturally relevant moments, you’ll help shape how FIGS shows up on campus and off. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, you’ll serve as a key player in bringing our brand and product to campuses, inspiring the next generation  of healthcare professionals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Student Strategy and Leadership: Develop and lead the planning and execution of dedicated student marketing strategies expanding FIGS’ presence on campuses via growing community of campus advocates/ambassadors, dedicated calendar, and identifying key focus areas
  • University Relations: Form and nurture relationships with key campus administrators and organizations
  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as a bridge and advocate for student programs between Community, TEAMS, Events, Brand Creative, Growth/Retention, Social, Retail, and Product (Merch/Design) to make sure our student programs are connected across every touchpoint.
  • Insights: Partner with the team to gather key campus insights and monitor performance, especially across social, community, TEAMS. Capture learnings and identify opportunities to continuously level up our work.
  • Campus Relevance & Inspiration: Keep a close eye on what’s happening on campuses — and bring fresh, relevant ideas that help FIGS stay ahead and stand out.
  • Idea Generation: Bring strong instincts and bold thinking to the table. Actively contribute to brainstorms and campaign development with original ideas rooted in brand, strategy, and culture.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in Influencer Marketing, Brand, Social or Community Management 
  • Proven ability to lead strategic workstreams and coordinate across cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading a campus or student ambassador program
  • Familiarity with medical/nursing/PA/vet and/or other healthcare school + residency programs 
  • A finger on the campus pulse - what is happening and resonating amongst Gen Z students
  • Comfort with feedback, collaboration, and fast-moving timelines
  • Strong deck-building and presentation skills (Google Suite, Keynote, Canva)
  • Experience working with external vendors and partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

FIGS Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $140,000 and $160,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience. 

Additional Compensation and Benefits 

  • Equity: Eligible FIGS employees have the opportunity to own shares of FIGS stock through our new-hire equity program. Additionally, FIGS provides a discount when purchasing FIGS stock voluntarily through our FIGS Employee Stock Purchase Plan
