Overview:
The Director, Sponsorships for the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region leads the development and execution of consumer- and customer-driven strategies to advance Mastercard's sponsorship marketing. This role is responsible for driving business growth, maximizing asset utilization, and maintaining competitive advantage through innovative activations and strategic partnerships.

-Develop forward-looking, best-in-class sponsorship strategies and activations rooted in consumer and customer insights
-Identify growth opportunities by analyzing sponsorship landscape trends, assessing competition, and recommending areas for development
-Lead operational evolution by establishing efficient, automated engagement methods with sponsorship assets.
-Drive ROI/ROO modeling with internal and external stakeholders to measure impact and optimize investments
Business Development
-Identify and pursue new business and product opportunities within Sports, music, entertainment, dining, and culinary landscapes.
-Develop strategic asset proposals and business cases for Mastercard across key passion points in the region, leveraging platforms such as Priceless.com
Expertise
-Demonstrate deep understanding of the LAC regional landscape and audience nuances.
-Ideally, possess an established network around sponsorship properties across LAC

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
