We're Looking For A: dynamic and strategic Director of Sales Operations to optimize and streamline our sales operations, drive analytics leadership, and enhance efficiency across our order-to-payment process. This role will play a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, improving forecasting, and working cross-functionally with IT, supply chain, warehouses and finance teams to scale our business effectively and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:
Process Improvement & Systems Automation
- Identify and implement process enhancements across the entire order-to-payment cycle.
- Lead initiatives to automate operational workflows in collaboration with IT, ensuring seamless system integrations and efficiency.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability of sales operations.
- Netsuite ERP - Proficiency in order management, inventory modules and financial reporting
- SPS Commerce EDI - Strong knowledge of retail EDI integration, 850, 856 and 810 transaction sets
- Business Intelligence Tools - Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or Looker
Efficiency & Logistics Strategy
- Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, including pallet SKUs, full truck utilization, and 3PL partnerships.
- Lead initiatives to streamline fulfillment for key partners such as QVC's extended assortment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.
- Create ideal process for discrepancy resolution
Analytics & Insights Leadership
- Provide leadership in data-driven forecasting, inventory planning, and demand analysis.
- Oversee internal data resources to turn raw data into actionable insights and business opportunities.
- Leverage sales,operations and marketing performance metrics and dashboards to drive decision-making.
Forecasting & Inventory Management
- Establish CF&R (Collaborative Forecasting and Replenishment) with larger retailers
- Analyze internal and customer supply chain inventory positions and proactively identify potential issues before they impact sales.
- Implement inventory strategies that align upstream orders with operational efficiencies.
Financial & Payment Operations
- Own and optimize the aging balances report to ensure timely collections and cash flow stability.
- Implement strategies to improve payment cycle efficiency and reduce outstanding balances.
People Management
- Mentor and lead the Sales Operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Great communication skills to stay aligned within the team and across the organization
- KPIs include Retailer Ontime Delivery, P.O. fill rate, shipping cost and forecast accuracy
Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Strong leadership experience in process optimization, forecasting, and analytics.
- Systems or ERP knowledge with NS experience preferred.
- Working knowledge in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools) and ERP/CRM systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and drive business impact.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations, supply chain, finance, or a related field, preferably within consumer goods, retail, or logistics.
- Experience in pet product sales preferred.

The base salary range is $150,000-$180,000, plus annual bonus potential of 15% at target and up to 30%.
