Job Description

Devexperts, a leader in financial markets technology and trading platforms, is currently seeking an experienced Managing Director of Sales and Business Development. This remote position will play a vital role in promoting our flagship product, DXtrade XT, to securities brokers. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, capital markets, and technology, combined with a strong sales background.

Areas of Expertise:

  • comprehensive knowledge of the financial services and capital markets, especially trading platforms and technology.
  • proficiency in Brokerage business and understanding of asset classes, including but not limited to Equities, Options, Futures, Mutual Funds, and Fixed Income.
  • a deep understanding of the end-to-end trading lifecycle and workflows.
  • familiarity with brokerage technology stack and key players in the brokerage industry technology landscape.
  • awareness of industry events and conferences relevant to brokerage technology.

Responsibilities:

  •  generate leads and proactively identify potential clients.
  • oversee the entire sales cycle, from the initial prospect identification and discussion to contract finalization.
  • identify client needs and suggest the most suitable product or solution.
  • leverage your experience in selling or supporting capital markets technology solutions, such as order management systems, trading platforms, and matching engines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Financial Markets, or related field.
  • mid-level to Senior experience in a related sales role within the financial industry.
  • proven record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • willingness and ability to travel for expos and client meetings, 4-10 times per year.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator who can comfortably navigate the rapidly changing landscape of financial markets technology.
