As a Program Management Director, you help clients’ set-up, manage, and operate their most complex projects, define functional requirements for technology solutions, and design and derive transformative approaches for technology systems.

Appetize Technologies, Inc. is looking for a stellar Program Management Director to join our growing Operations Team. This role is a blend of project management and strategy with a major emphasis on communications with key enterprise partners like Madison Square Garden, LA Angels, NY Yankees, Live Nation, etc. You will play a vital part in comprising a polished and cohesive approach to interfacing with key customers during implementation. You will serve as the “air traffic controller” guiding these projects and objectives to deliver against aggressive software development deliverables, time constraints, revenue targets, customer acceptance, and financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; participate and lead aspects of the implementation process; contribute to the development of product strategies
• Work closely with the Appetize product team to develop innovative solutions and integrations for both current and prospective clients
• Thoughtful Partner engagement: Understand when to engage, who to engage and the appropriate method for the circumstances
• Produce effective results: Ensure project goals, objectives, milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule
• Act as the central point of contact for all program area questions or issues
• Assume accountability of tracking, monitoring, removing roadblocks and reporting for assigned program area. Delivering high quality service to stakeholders
• Build relationships and influence others to get things done and drive decision making
• Planning project milestones/tasks, schedules and resources
• Communicate schedules, updates, status, major decisions, risks and blockers
• Requirements gathering: Includes appropriate stakeholders to properly collect comprehensive requirements
• Facilitate or create appropriate project documentation. Define and socialize standards for future enterprise clients

Key Skills/Requirements:

• 7+ years of enterprise program and implementation management experience
• 7+ years planning and managing project initiatives or delivering systems
• Experience with projects involving solution development based on web or mobile application architecture
• Experience translating requirements into optimized designs and identifying alternatives
• Excellent teamwork skills including written and verbal communication skills
• Moderate Travel
• Metrics driven decision making

Desired Skills/Requirements:

• MBA
• PMP Certification
• Scrum Master Certification
• POS, restaurant and retail product management experience a strong plus
